…Insane or not ? She wants all of their profits to fund governmental energy research….We need energy research, no doubt, but why would any company want to be in business if they could not keep any of their profits ? What is Hillary thinking ? What do you think ?

Hillary would like Big Oil to stop raping the hell out of America. I have no problem with a politician siding with the citizens versus letting the common people get screwed just so his/her rich buddies can get richer.
I don’t think she’s insane. Let’s see, help millionaires become billionaires while gouging the average American, or taking that money and funding education, and decreasing America’s dependence on outside oil/resources?

What do I think? I think people should stop and think. Obviously the GOVERNMENT can’t tax all oil company profits but the government should tax windfall profits. Wouldn’t it be better to use these profits to finance research to benefit mankind or would it be better to make the rich richer…at the expense of the common man? You figure it out. This scenario has been bandied about by politicians long before Hillary began running for President.
She was thinking most of us are stupid.In fact she’s counting on it.
She’s thinking she can dupe more voters to her cause by punishing companies who are flourishing in our capitalistic, free market society. It’s just one step closer to socialism. Honestly, this is starting to sound like Hugo Chavez’s plan to nationalize the oil industry in Venezuela.

Well hell yeah! They have made enough like the tobacco companies and yes they need to invest in solar and wind power sources nuke plants are dangerous and can kill everything in a 150 mile radius and the waste from them is also a problem
She is going to run the Govt. She will bloody need all the money. Thru Government programmes she can also finance Personal programmes……..
Do not make the mistake and sell her short. She is very intelligent, and I’m sure there is a back-up plan.
I really like what she said last week about every American should have affordable medical insurance. There are some people I know of that are working two jobs but cannot afford medical insurance. This is a disgrace. With the tax papers money that is spent on foolish ideas or the $12, Million that is unaccounted for, that was paid out in cash to private contractors in Iraq. Guess where most went to, Halliburton. I’m sure Cheny’s stock went up & up. The American need this money! I see people everyday that cannot afford a dentist, they suffer.
