I’ve heard that pharmaceutical companies market and push their psycho drugs to make big profits?

……but at the same time…there’s all these stories about kids and adults who are on ritalin or some other psycho drug and they sometimes do really bad things. And if the patient tries to stop taking it…..they really go bonkers. Some people say it’s conspiracy theory hogwash and that overall the drugs have great benefit. What do you think?

Part conspiracy hogwash, part true. There are people who are chronically depressed, bi-polar, OCD, and ADHD. Some people do have panic attacks, but a lot of people are prescribed these drugs without having the diseases. People are over-presecibed drugs and doctors brush you off as depressed without looking for other things that could be wrong. If you feel down once in awhile, that’s perfectly happy, but if you constantly feel worthless, and sad, you probably are depressed. I don’t want to say that these disorders don’t exist, because I really believe they do, but there are so many people who don’t and are still prescribed drugs.
